How do we help? Several ways.
For over 50 years, Lafourche Arc has been devoted to enhancing the quality of life, opportunities, and choices for all people with developmental disabilities. We are a dedicated organization working on local, state, and national levels to raise awareness of our mission. We provide our recipients and their families with opportunities for growth and independence to reach their fullest potential. Our goal is to foster an environment within the communities we serve where all people are accepted as individuals with their own capacities who can participate in community life. We support approximately 350 individuals with disabilities throughout a seven parish area providing services through our Community Supports, Vocational, and Residential Programs. Vocational and Residential Services provided in Central and Northern Lafourche Parish while our Community Supports and Services program areas include the parishes of Lafourche, Terrebonne, Assumption, St. Mary, St. James, St. John, and St. Charles.
